Baroque Cherub

Technique: Gilt bronze. On a modern ebonised wood base.

Dimensions: 12 cm high

Condition: Both wings missing on the back.

   Baroque figure of a cherub sitting on a small podium, made in gilt bronze. The cherub is naked, wearing only a cloth around his waist that falls elegantly on his left shoulder. Good anatomical finish, with a pleasant face expression and a nice patina in the worn areas.
The podium base has two lateral attachment holes.
